Navigators I:58 in Atlanta focuses on advancing the Gospel of Jesus and His Kingdom among communities in Atlanta experiencing the consequences of injustice, oppression, and poverty. oaksATL is our I:58 initiative in Atlanta focusing on whole-life-discipleship through gospel-centered community development.

oaksATL’s mission is to come alongside families in English Avenue to empower their youth to become oaks of righteousness.

oaksATL is a program for youth in grades K-12 who live in the English Avenue Neighborhood of Atlanta. Our calling is to live among youth and their families sharing life with them while being witnesses to the Good News of Jesus Christ. Through life relationships oaksATL strives to love, equip, and empower youth to become leaders and live out their God-given purposes in their community for God’s glory.

Envisioned from Isaiah 61:1-4, oaksATL’s vision is for youth to grow into “oaks of righteousness” who will “rebuild, restore, and renew” their neighborhoods that have been “devastated for generations” and who will reproduce spiritual generations in their neighborhoods.

They will be called oaks of righteousness. A planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.
