Volunteer Opportunities

Mentoring

  • Spend time, listen, care, and model Christ’s love to a youth in the Oaks Atlanta Program.
  • Serve as an advocate, advisor, and friend through their high school years.
  • Communicate with your youth (via phone, email, text) once a week, and meet your youth face-to-face at least 4 hours a month.
  • Pray for your student on a consistent basis.

 

After School Program

  • Join The Navigators staff team to lead the after school program activities.
  • Assist the staff in facilitating a loving and grace filled environment.
  • Invest in youth in a group context through academic tutoring, enrichment activities, recreation, and bible studies.
  • Share your gifts and talents, such as art, music, cooking, construction, finances, etc.
  • Recommended commitment is 1 day per week for a school semester.

 

Supplies

  • Pencils, pens, crayons, and coloring books
  • Balls and sports equipment
  • Dinnerware – disposable plates, napkins, cups, forks, spoons
  • Cleaning Supplies – Sanitary wipes, hand sanitizer, paper towels
  • The Home Depot Gift Cards (construction materials for after school program projects)
